The Royal Canadian Mint has announced that it will release a new $1 and a new $2 coin early next year. The coins will have new designs that are in keeping with the current wild life series and incorporate changes to the metallic composition of the coins. These changes cause subtle differences in the electrical characteristics of the coins and result in the need to update the recognition software of the Currenza� C2 Coin Changer. Through its work with the Royal Canadian Mint, Crane Payment Solutions has already updated its recognition software for the Currenza� C2 coin changer to enable acceptance of the new coins.
Crane Payment Solutions offers the updated Currenza� C2 software free of charge for field upgrade by means of the HENRI hand held service tool available through Crane Merchandising Systems (CMS) or your CMS distributor. The Bill-to-Bill 300XE is set to improve Operator𠏋 perception of cash management by revolutionizing the flow of cash and reducing the cost of processing cash.
狢n addition to the Bill-to-Bill 300XE, Crane Payment Solutions will also be showcasing the Bill-to-Bill 100XE, its new future-proof bill validator with multi-escrow. The c2 Spider recycles 8 coin denominations by expanding on its 6 coin tubes with recycling to two more coin hoppers using outlets at the back of the unit. The CR-106 offers bulk coin input and validates and sorts incoming coins into 6 coin hoppers that can be used to pay change.
Several other bill and coin products will be on display at the exhibition, including the industry standard Money Controls Universal Hopper coin dispenser, the new NRI f2 and v2 Eagle coin validators and the lower capacity single-note Bill-to-Bill 60 bill recycler.

Crane Payment Solutions Launches New Bill Recycler to Reduce Cash Handling Costs in Transport Ticketing
Toronto - 10th April 2011 � Crane Payment Solutions is launching the Bill-to-Bill 300XE bill recycler, designed to meet the needs of the Fare Collection Transport Ticketing market. The Bill-to-Bill 300XE can reduce the number of visits to Ticket Vending Machines for cash pickup and change replenishment by more than twothirds, thus dramatically decreasing cash processing costs for Operators. These operational improvements are achieved while at the same time leading to higher rider satisfaction since riders can receive change back in bills rather than a bulk of coins. The Bill-to-Bill 300XE can recycle up to 300 banknotes (the highest recycling capacity for its product segment in the market) and has a 1,000-note cash box.
