CashCode’s parent company, Crane Co., through the Crane Fund for Widows and Children and on behalf of all of our employees, has made a generous donation of $10,000 to the American Red Cross National Headquarters earmarked for the Chinese Earthquake Relief Effort. The American Red Cross mobilized immediately following the devastating 7.9 magnitude earthquake in China’s Sichuan province on May 12th. This contribution will assist the Red Cross Society of China, whose employees and volunteers have been helping survivors since the earthquake struck.

CashCode strengthens North American Gaming team
Toronto, ON, Canada, March 17, 2008 - CashCode, part of the Crane Payment Solutions group of companies - the manufacturer of bill validators and currency handling devices for countries worldwide, today announced the appointment of Mr. Jim Gabriele, as Director of Business Development, North America Gaming.
Mr. Gabriele has extensive experience in the gaming arena. Prior to joining Crane / CashCode, Jim worked for TransAct Technologies where he was responsible for managing and growing TransAct's gaming printer sales in the Eastern United States.
“Jim’s reputation for building strong relationships with casino properties and slot machine manufacturers is well recognized. Prior to joining TransAct, Jim was with Mars Electronics International where he acted as the Director of Gaming, North America. During his career at MEI, Jim was instrumental in growing the gaming business segment.

CashCode Announces $5 USD Software Update
In anticipation of the introduction of the new U.S. $5 bill, which is scheduled to be put into circulation in March 2008, Crane Payment Solutions is pleased to announce software updates for all currently manufactured CashCode Bill Validators.
The new U.S. $5 bill will be significantly different from the existing U.S. $5 bill in terms of material composition, chromatic pattern and magnetic properties. Crane Payment Solutions is working with the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing and will be providing a firmware update for the CashCode products that will enable it to reliably validate the new U.S. $5 bill and reject counterfeits. All new shipments in the beginning of the New Year will contain this firmware upgrade.
Current products already in the field will be upgradeable with CashCode’s BlueChip™ smart memory stick.

North American CashCode Gaming Team Uncovering Opportunities For Their Newest Product Offering.
Toronto, ON, Canada, November 17, 2008 - CashCode, part of the Crane Payment Solutions group of companies - the manufacturer of bill validators and currency handling devices for countries worldwide, today announced the updated North American Gaming sales organization. Headed by the VP of Sales and Business Development - Global Gaming, the newest addition of Mr. Bill Nichols, OEM Gaming Manger, North America, was hired earlier this year in May.
Mr. Nichols has over 20 years experience in the payment systems arena, the last 10 of which specifically in the gaming vertical.Current products already in the field will be upgradeable with CashCode’s BlueChip smart memory stick.
