1.       Senior Account Manager (SAM), Retail North America 

Reports to: VP of Sales, Retail and Transportation
External relationship: Retail self check-out, self service, kiosk and safes clients to director level on both marketing and technical teams
Internal relationship: Senior Management, Account Manager(s) Team, R&D team, Marketing, Finance and Customer Service team

Job Summary:

The incumbent will be consummate and credible sales professional selling complex payment solutions to multi level of business accounts. He/She should be comfortable working with the purchasing, marketing, engineering, and compliance functions of the OEMs to ensure they are prepared to offer Crane Payment Solution for sale within their platform. This role is equally focused on maintaining and growing existing account base, and suited to people who are “sales hungry” and who can exploit their exceptional sales skills with effective and successful results.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to inside account management/support team;
  • Focus on key decision makers and demand drivers at the OEM level to drive demand within the region;
  • Maintain effectiveness in working with multinational OEMs
  • Manage existing business and develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income for CRANE Payment Solution to an agreed annual target-subject to review year on year;
  • You will be expected to spend 50% of your time out of the office in meetings. Travel is a major factor and is predicted to be predominantly in the USA. International travel can be expected from time to time;

  • Although this position have no direct reports identified, the incumbent is expected to work effectively with peers at different levels/functional areas (e.g. account management, inside sales, technical team and operations) to ensure you are up-to-date on all aspects of the sale;
  • Present / prepares OEM forecasts and production planning for integration into production planning;
  • Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation;
  • A thorough understanding of clients marketing objectives including their Return On Investment (ROI) objectives;
  • Possess drive, motivation and attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored;
  • Keeping abreast of issues affecting market and new technologies being introduced;;
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required

    Education, prior work experience, and specialized skills and knowledge:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related major
  • Proven success in your sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process
  • Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’
  • Strong client management skills and ability to keep promises/manage expectations
  • Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
  • A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities
  • Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • A positive attitude to dealing with people
  • Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual
  • A sound understanding of the Retail market, particularly in sales, negotiation, and OEM technology is a prerequisite
  • Previous experience dealing with large multinational OEMs (e.g. NCR, IBM, etc.) in the retail and self service industry would be a distinct advantage ite

2. System Engineering Manager

Position: System Engineering Manager
Department: Engineering
Report to: Director of Engineering

Job Summary:

System Engineering Manager responsibility will be managing interdisciplinary team to ensure that the customer and stakeholder’s needs are satisfied in a high quality, cost efficient and schedule compliant manner throughout the project. System Engineering Manager will work with product managers to successfully plan and manage product development, define customer needs and required functionality, documenting requirements and coordinate the execution of engineering and other related activities required to produce new products.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages and coordinates the work of the assigned engineering program team
  • Acts as the project architect and planner of the project
  • Ensures the team has tools and work processes to handle the project
  • Act as a liaison, VOC between the customer and engineering group
  • Analyze customer needs and objectives and define technical and functional specifications
  • Define/Refine Performance and Design
  • Allocate work/subprojects between engineering teams at all functional levels
  • Drives for efficient performance, right cost solution
  • Implements best practice processes and drives technology innovations
  • Works with product managers, sales team to plan and manager product development
  • Coaches, mentors and develops people to achieve positions of greater responsibility
  • Other related responsibilities

    Job requirements:

  • Engineering Degree
  • Hands on technical expert, has solid knowledge of products and interdisciplinary knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, knowledge of Russian language preferred
  • Minimum three years experience, or comparable education, in leading engineering projects and teams
  • Highly effective project management skills and demonstrated confidence in decision making
  • Experience with new product development
  • Ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of performance management
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Flexibility and multitasking in managing continuously changing business objectives
  • Understanding blue prints, engineering drawings and familiarity with PCBs
  • Must be able to communicate well cross-functionally and effectively lead the team
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally in and effort of continuous improvement
  • Ability to motivate at all levels of the organization
